WhenIsMyCheck is a simple calculator that helps you estimate monthly Social Security and/or SSI payment dates for a selected year.

We are not affiliated with the Social Security Administration (SSA). This site is for informational purposes only and does not provide financial or legal advice.

What we cover

We focus on the regular monthly payment schedule for Social Security and SSI, plus the standard weekend/holiday shift rule (payments move to the prior business day when needed).

We do not attempt to predict one‑time payments, back pay, or case-specific adjustments.

• Social Security payments on the 3rd (certain cases)
• Social Security payments on the 2nd/3rd/4th Wednesday (birthday groups)
• SSI payments on the 1st (with shifts)

Sources and verification

For verified years, our goal is to match SSA’s published schedule. For example, the 2026 schedule is based on SSA Publication 05‑10031.

For future years that are not yet published, we show rules‑based estimates using the standard schedule rules and observed federal holidays. We label these clearly as estimates.

Updates and corrections

We review the calendar content when SSA publishes new schedules (typically in the fall for the following year) and update the site as soon as practical.

If you find a discrepancy, please contact us with the month/year and the issue. We will investigate and correct errors when confirmed.
